HALLOWEEK-ENDS

With the weather getting cooler and leaves starting to change that can only mean one thing...Halloweek-Ends. So last weekend we took the kids to Cedar Point for our annual trip.
We left right after school on Friday, checked into our hotel and hit the park running. Greg and Kenzie took off for some Roller-coasters while Andy and I took in the scenery. He loved looking at all the decorations and skeletons that were all over the park. He even danced with some monsters. He didn’t ride a single ride Friday night...he was to involved with all the Halloween fun.
We went through the kids "haunted house" a few times and the kids hit a straw maze. We then took the kids through the back of the park where they make it really dark and have fog machines. Did I mention that they have people in costume that jump out at you. The kids loved it and wanted to do it again.

Saturday because we were staying at the park we got in an hour early, so once again Greg and Kenzie took off for some more roller-coaster fun. Once the park opened up to the public it got crazy busy, so that pretty much did us in for the rides, although I did get Kenzie on My favorite ride the "Wicked Twister"

We went and saw a bunch of the Halloween shows that they have at the park. Kenzie got invited up on stage for 2 of them. One was a kids show "The Witches of Witch Hollow" The other show was a Magic show called the Chris Lynn show. She did a good job and was very excited to get up on stage. We also broke down and let her play one of those "carnival" games and she won a big puppy. They have a great parade, which was fun to watch. Over all a great last weekend at Cedar Point!

Kenzie is such a star and Andy looks half like he is trying to get away from that black bird thing and half like he's dancing. Now that she has won a prize you will never be able to tell her that no one ever wins at those games.

I just found your blog! Yea! I miss Cedar Point. We were driving past Lagoon a while ago and the kids wanted to go, I just couldn't find it in my heart to go there. Just not quite the same!
